OVERVIEW
YOFIMA is an app that connects people who need in-home Yoga, Fitness, and Massage services to the providers who supply them.

The Challenge
YOFIMA had a large network of clients who were scheduling yoga, personal training, and massage appointments with YOFIMA providers. This process was being done manually and over the phone.
Goals
- Replace the manual scheduling payment process with a mobile-based digital one.
- Connect YOFIMA providers and clients through an easy-to-use app for appointment scheduling.


The Process

We had two user types (client and provider) with different needs. To figure out which screens were required, I created two sitemaps. This also helped establish the navigation.

Flow Charts
The next step was to create wireframes and connect all the screens together to view the flow. Upon login, the app can identify the user type and show the correct home/menu screen.
Schedule a Session
Clients can schedule any of the 3 services offered with the provider of their choice. There is no longer the need to call or email somebody to schedule an appointment. Sessions can be automated to be bi-weekly, weekly, or monthly.

Manage Availability
Providers can update their availability at any point. This allows sessions to be scheduled only when the provider is available.
Manage Appointments
The app allows the client and provider to track their scheduled appointments. The app also uses push notifications that send out reminders of upcoming sessions.


Results
YOFIMA launched in 2015 and was successfully adopted by both providers and clients. The app has streamlined the YOFIMA business by:
- Decreasing response times
- Making scheduling simple
- Making communications instant and easy
